NCCCO Rigger - Level I Certification Preparatory - 16 Hours

NCCCO Rigger Level 1 & Level 2 Certification Preparatory Training prepares students for the successful completion of Level 1 & Level 2 Rigger certification testing. Students will participate in classroom instruction and several hands-on workshops for: slings, rigging, hardware, sling tension, angles, center of gravity calculation, sling protection, knot tying and an overview of signalperson responsibilities. Students will examine sling hitch applications and perform load weight distribution and tension calculations for non-symmetrical loads. Participants will also learn methods of drifting and rotating loads.  A practice test is administered and includes discussion and review of test answers and course materials. Students will not only be prepared for third party testing, but more importantly, be introduced to the knowledge necessary for the successful performance of Level 1 & 2 Rigger duties. Written exams are administered by NCCCO For NCCCO Rigger Level 1 and Rigger Level 2 Certification. Participants can also complete the NCCCO written exam at an approved Computer Based Testing (CBT) Center within 12 months of training. Practical exams for Rigger Levels 1 and 2 are administered by Lift-It consultants.
