Military Cargo Nets

Military Cargo nets are specialized load handling equipment designed for lifting loose, awkwardly shaped, bulky and/or delicate objects, that encapsulate and conform to the load, making them suitable for lifting different types of cargo, such as statues, boulders, bags, crates, and pallets where rigging to and defining the center of gravity (CG) can be difficult.

Lift-It® military cargo lifting nets are made of high-strength materials, such as nylon or polyester webbing or rope, which are treated to resist UV degradation and minor abrasive wear, increasing their longevity.

Cargo  nets can lift multiple items at once, increasing the speed and efficiency of the rigging process, reducing the time and labor required when rigging items individually.

Nets are available in various materials, sizes from 2x2 to 40x40 and custom military cargo nets can be fabricated 24x7x365 and shapes made with either nylon, polyester or various types of high-performance materials such as UHMWPE, Vectran®, Kevlar® webbing, or synthetic rope.

One of the more popular choices used for decades by the US Navy are the Military grade cargo lifting nets are manufactured to Department of Defense specification MIL-S-18313G utilizing 1-3/4” webbing and feature a mesh opening of approximately 6.25-inch square with elongated pear links in the corners for attachment to cranes and helicopters.

Whether your application requires military specification or commercial grade cargo lifting nets, cargo nets are efficient for the rigger and do not require any complex procedures or special tools.

Our nets are inspected to the same ASME B30.9 criteria already used by riggers to inspect their synthetic rope slings and/or web slings, allowing the same qualified rigging personnel to perform necessary inspections.
