Shackle Material:Bow and Shackle pin: High tensile steel, Grade 6 quenched and tempered. Van Beest® shackles are upset forged with no drop forge flashing marks. Van Beest® shackles have embossed information vs. raised sharp lettering which is ideal for synthetic lifting slings. These shackles also have a super smooth galvanized finished.
